Display phone number

The WhatsApp Business phone number customers will message. E.164 format with a leading +.

Phone Number ID

Meta Business → WhatsApp → API Setup, top of the page.

WhatsApp Business Account ID

Same screen, just under the Phone Number ID.

System User Access Token

Meta Business Settings → System Users. Generate a long-lived token with both whatsapp_business_management and whatsapp_business_messaging permissions.

App Secret

Meta App → App Settings → Basic → App Secret (click Show). We use this to verify webhook signatures from Meta.

Two-step verification PIN

Set a 6-digit PIN that Meta will use to lock your phone number. We'll register your number with Cloud API automatically. Digits only; letters and symbols are not allowed.

If you've used this number with another system, use the same PIN. Otherwise, pick any 6 digits you'll remember.

Send /newbot to BotFather.
Choose a display name: any name your customers will see.
Choose a username; it must end in _bot.
Copy the HTTP API token BotFather replies with (looks like 7123456789:AAH…).
